Strategic Counsel

Bart Mindszenthy, APR, FCPRS, LM, and Gail Harcourt-Roberts first worked together in 1988 on what’s considered the ‘Canadian sports scandal of the 20th century’ while each was managing a full service public relations company.

In 1990 they founded Toronto-based The Mindszenthy & Roberts Corporation. The firm provides organizations in all sectors with counsel and support in strategic communications planning; major change, conflict, and crisis communications; issues management; and, internal/organizational communications.

Since founding the firm,  they’ve worked on some of the most high profile Canadian issues, conflicts and crises, and have provided counsel and support to more than 200 organizations across Canada and abroad, helping them through delicate situations including white collar crime, alleged sexual abuse, mergers, divestments, acquisitions, downsizing's and reorganizations, and myriad challenging other issues.

Gail and Bart are frequent in-house workshop leaders and conference presenters, drawing on more than 60 collective years of experience in public relations management. They offer a national virtual team of senior level associates who provide complimentary areas of expertise. As well, they are both Associate Faculty members in the MBA program at Royal Roads University’s Faculty of Management.

 

Dr. Harvey Silver is an Organizational Psychologist and Human Resources Management Consultant, receiving his MA in Clinical Psychology from the University of Toronto and his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from State University of New York.

Harvey specializes in the skill improvement areas of coaching, management development, organizational renewal, emowerment, team building and employee effectiveness and performance enhancement. He has more than 25 years experience in helping thousands of people promote and practice better "mental health" in the workplace.

Harvey is an accomplished seminar leader. He has conducted workshops, conferences and seminars for more than 700 organizations, corporations, associations, agencies, ministries and departments across Canada and the United States.

Harvey's book, co-authored with Bart Mindzenthy, Leadership@Work: How to be an Effective Team Leader Anywhere, Anytime, with Anyone was a number one best-seller in management books across Canada in 2001-2002.
